Maggie Gins

After specializing for years in graphite portraits and
illustrations, Maggie brings her special talents and people skills to Law
Enforcement as a unique forensic artist.
Maggie was born and raised in Taos, New Mexico, renowned for its
Taos Art Colony. Bert G. Phillips, her great-grandfather, was one of its
founders. From an early age, her talent was
apparent. Maggie has studied with Western Artists Tom Kocher, Lee Finn, and
Hugh Cabot. Maggie was the protege of the famous
Arizona painter Lloyd Larson.
Recently, Maggie was recognized as the outstanding
particpant upon completion of the 40-hour Composite
Drawing for Law Enforcement course hosted by the United States Secret
Service in Beltsville, MD.
